Compensation:
Annual salary of $52,000 – $60,000. Benefits include 401k with match, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance and paid holidays/vacation.
Job Description:
Jay Marketing and Communications is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage monthly billing operations, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments to vendors. This role will report directly to the Controller and play a crucial part in supporting the company’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute monthly billing to clients
- Track and maintain aging reports of outstanding invoices
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Assist the Controller with ad-hoc financial tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies or issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate accounting or billing
- Strong knowledge of invoicing and accounts payable procedures
- Experience with SAGE Intacct is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
