Grammy-nominated producer and gifted winds player Scott Mayo joins with original theme composer, Ferdinand J Smith, to bring a new spin to America’s favorite 80’s movie opening! To top things off, overdubs took place in LA at Scott Frankfurt Studios, ‘second home’ to Brazilian musician Sérgio Mendez. Guitarist Mike Miller (Chick Corea, Boz Scaggs) added his legendary prowess to the new HBO track. And pianist Jameson Trotter, son of iconic jazz pianist Terry Trotter, brought the magic of his skills as well.
All in all, a magical addition to a piece of musical and cinematic history.
