Rochester, NY — November 14, 2022 — JAY Advertising has earned four awards from Graphis, the prestigious journal of visual communication recognized as an “international bastion of excellence in design and visual imagery.”

Jay was honored with one Gold and three Silvers for a recruitment campaign on behalf of law firm Harter Secrest & Emery. The agency also picked up an honorable mention for a tourism campaign for longtime partner Greater Rochester Visitors Association (aka Visit Rochester).
Using LinkedIn as the conduit to reach prospective candidates, the visually arresting recruitment campaign for HSE immersed the audience in a prehistoric environment which played as a metaphor for the predacious “Eat what you kill” climate of the Big Law firms.
Fleshing out the concept, JAY coined a new branch of science: Paleonlawlogy, the study of Big Law species. A digital poster and video that expanded on the subject welcomed interested candidates directed from LinkedIn to the HSE website.
