Compensation:
Annual salary of $90,000 – $110,000. Benefits include 401k with match, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance and paid holidays/vacation.
Job Description:
Responsible for all Finance and Human Resource functions of an advertising agency with approximately 30 employees. Candidate must be an independent problem solver that is detail oriented. This person will be a member of our leadership team expected to assist with daily operational management in combination with developing the agency’s long-term financial strategy.
Finance Responsibilities:
- Internal and external reporting
- Annual budget preparation and interim forecasts throughout the year
- Manage banking relationship
- Oversee 3rd party audit and tax preparation
- Point person for corporate attorneys. Assist with review, execution and archiving of contracts
- Preparation and development of operational scorecards/benchmarks to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Maintain relationship with corporate insurance broker and administer annual renewals
- In-charge of all daily clerical operations; with particular emphasis on cash management and customized client billing requirements
- Responsible for month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Administrator of Sage software accounting system
- Interact with employees throughout the organization to assure timely processing of data
- Supervise an accounting assistant that will be hired in replacement of third-party contractors currently utilized
Human Resource Responsibilities:
- Work in combination with third party HR consultants to assure policies, procedures and documentation are in accordance with all federal and state requirements
- Process payroll
- Administer benefit plans
- Assist with talent acquisition and employee retention
Office:
- Standard office hours 8:30 – 5:30
- Hybrid Policy – Combination of remote and in-person employment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
